Design Description

Based on the concept of “Chinese Medicines Chess”, the design integrates play and education, allowing children to learn about Chinese materia medica whilst having fun. The pieces draw on the structure of traditional Chinese chess, featuring rounded forms with three-dimensional representations of common Chinese medicinal materials on top. By integrating the intuitive forms of Chinese medicinal materials with the structure of the game, the design not only enhances children’s enjoyment of learning but also deepens the popularisation and appreciation of Chinese medicine culture.
