To reflect its commitment to safeguarding the health of Hong Kong residents while also facilitating positive interactions with the market, CMHHK provides Government-subsidised Services and Market Oriented Services.

The Government provides funding to the Operator, requiring CMHHK to offer subsidised services to the public.  This reflects the Government’s commitment to safeguarding the health of Hong Kong residents.  In setting the service charges for subsidised services, factors such as market prices, public affordability, and service costs have been taken into account to ensure that members of the public in need can access the services of the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital at reasonable and affordable prices.

For Market Oriented Services, CMHHK applies market rates, with fees set at sustainable pricing levels and benchmarked against private sector standards.

*The Elderly Health Care Voucher (EHCV) is applicable only to primary healthcare services.

As the first Chinese Medicine (CM) service-predominant hospital in Hong Kong, The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong focuses on deepening the development of secondary and tertiary CM services.  Thus, EHCV is not applicable to the hospital services provided by CMHHK.
