Design Description

The four paintings take the scenery of spring, summer, autumn and winter as their theme. Through the changes in natural phenomena across the four seasons, they illustrate the philosophical ideas of opposition and waxing-waning, alternation and balance between yin and yang. With mountain forests as the background, the works use a painting style with a characteristically Eastern softness and refined elegance to convey the unceasing vitality of the natural cycle.
