Distinctive Service Approaches

CMHHK offers three service approaches tailored to individuals with varying needs and medical conditions, ensuring the delivery of safe, convenient, personalised, and high-quality care for every patient.

• Pure Chinese Medicine Services: Diagnosis and a variety of treatments are provided based on the Chinese medicine theory, to reflect the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine.

• Services with Chinese Medicine playing the predominant role: The attending Chinese medicine practitioner will provide diagnosis and treatment. Chinese medicine will be the dominant component of medical care, supported by Western medicine at different stages where indicated and appropriate.

• Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine Services: To achieve the desired patient outcome when a specific condition is present, Chinese medicine (playing the predominant role) and Western medicine will be integrated into the management protocols.

Preventive Care 

Upholding the philosophy of “preventive care”, CMHHK provides services of preventive healthcare and health management to the public. Through early detection and personalised health guidance, we encourage the public to take an active role in managing their own health, promote physical and mental balance and enhance the body’s resilience against diseases.

Specialised Chinese Medicine Services

To ensure the provision of high-quality medical services and facilitate patient access to specialised services in Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine practitioners provide general services and demonstrate core competencies in specialised services. These specialised services are provided in a patient-centred approach, enabling the delivery of the most appropriate and professional management for each patient.
