Introduction to 24-Hour Inpatient Service

The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong will launch its 24-hour inpatient service on 11 December 2026. Adopting a Chinese medicine-led approach and integrated Chinese and Western medicine collaboration model, the service integrates multi-disciplinary care, personalised patient-centred services and a tranquil healing environment. It provides continuous and comprehensive in-hospital care for eligible patients, with round-the-clock clinical monitoring and intensive integrated treatment support.

 

Eligible Patients

  • Patients with complex medical conditions that require systematic diagnosis and treatment with full hospital support
  • Patients with unstable clinical conditions requiring continuous 24-hour clinical monitoring
  • Patients with severe clinical symptoms in need of intensive inpatient treatment
  • Patients with temporary loss of self-care ability due to illness
