Prof BIAN Zhaoxiang, MH
Prof Bian is an expert in clinical studies involving Chinese medicine and a leading researcher in gut dysbiosis. He holds multiple positions at Hong Kong Baptist University, including Chair Professor of Chinese Medicine and Director of the Centre for Chinese Herbal Medicine Drug Development. Prof. Bian’s research focuses on Traditional Chinese Medicine for treating digestive diseases, clinical foundational research, and new drug development.
Prof. Bian currently serves as the Hospital Chief Executive of CMHHK.
Mr CHAN Chung Ching, JP
Mr Chan is the Permanent Secretary for Health in the Health Bureau of the HKSAR Government, overseeing policies related to the overall health system and healthcare services, including public healthcare, primary healthcare, Chinese medicine, disease prevention, health regulation, healthcare manpower, health infrastructure, health research, statistics, and data analytics.

Prof the Hon Chan serves on various boards and public bodies, including as a Member of the Legislative Council of the HKSAR, Chairperson of the Chinese Medicine Practice Subcommittee under the Chinese Medicine Development Committee, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Federation of Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Chinese Medicines Traders Association, and Chairperson of the School Advisory Committee of the School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University.
Prof CHEN Hubiao
Prof Chen is a Professor at the School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University, where he serves as the Programme Director for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) in Chinese Medicine and the Director of the Research Centre for Standardization of Chinese Medicines.

Ms Chow is the Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary of Hong Kong Baptist University, responsible for professional administrative services and overseeing the university’s involvement in the Chinese Medicine Hospital Project. She is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Management Accountant (USA).

Dr Chung is the Commissioner for Chinese Medicine Development in the Health Bureau of the HKSAR Government, overseeing the development and promotion of Chinese medicine in service delivery, education, research, and industry advancement.
Dr HA King Hang
Dr Ha is Director (Strategy & Planning), Hospital Authority. His division oversees portfolios including strategic planning, statistics and data science, primary care, elderly care services, medical social collaboration, patient empowerment in public hospitals and Chinese Medicine Clinic cum Training and Research Centre.
Prof HUANG Xianzhang
Prof Huang is a registered Chinese medicine practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland. He is the Vice Chairperson of the Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association and a Visiting Professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He also serves on various committees, including Member of the Chief Executive Election Committee of HKSAR and Member of the Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board under Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong.

Ms Lau is a Deputy Secretary for Education in the Education Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She is responsible for the policies on higher and further education, covering the publicly-funded and self-financing post-secondary education sectors, the vocational and professional education sector and the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework, etc.
Before taking up the current post, Ms Lau served in various policy bureaux and departments, including the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, and the Chief Secretary for Administration’s Private Office.
