Prof BIAN Zhaoxiang, MH

Hospital Chief Executive

Prof Bian Zhaoxiang is an esteemed expert in Chinese medicine and currently serves as the Hospital Chief Executive of CMHHK. His specialisation encompasses clinical studies in Chinese medicine, with a significant focus on gut dysbiosis  .   He earned his degree in Chinese medicine from Nanjing University, followed by a Master of Philosophy from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrative Medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.   As the Hospital Chief Executive, Prof Bian leads the Core Management Team, prioritising on delivering high-quality patient care. He is committed to enhancing patient outcomes and integrating Chinese medicine into a holistic healthcare system while advancing the integration of Chinese and Western medicine within the hospital’s services.

Mr CHEUNG Chun Hoi

Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Chinese Medicine)

Mr Cheung Chun Hoi is the Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Chinese Medicine) at CMHHK, bringing extensive experience in clinical practice and administrative management. He holds a double degree in Bachelor of Chinese Medicine and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Science, along with a Master of Chinese Medicine from Hong Kong Baptist University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Tuina of Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.   At CMHHK, he leads the Chinese Medicine Division, fostering collaboration with Western medicine to enhance integrated research and education. Beyond his role at CMHHK, Mr Cheung is actively involved in public service as the Vice-President of the Hong Kong Registered Chinese Medical Practitioners Association and participates on various committees focused on Chinese medicine regulation and development.

Dr LAU Chun Wing

Dr Lau Chun Wing brings a wealth of experience in clinical service and hospital administration. His expertise lies in respiratory medicine, critical care, and internal medicine.   Prior to joining CMHHK, he held significant positions within the Hospital Authority, including Service Director (Quality & Safety) and Deputy Hospital Chief Executive. In these roles, he focused on improving patient care and enhancing safety protocols.   In his current position, Dr Lau oversees the Western Medicine Division, where he prioritises the integration of Chinese medicine into clinical practice and actively supports research and educational initiatives in integrative healthcare.

Ms CHON Mei Chun Ellie

General Manager (Nursing)

Ms Chon Mei Chun Ellie is the General Manager (Nursing) at CMHHK, contributing over 30 years of nursing experience, including prominent leadership roles in private hospitals. She is a Registered Nurse in Hong Kong and holds both a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Business Administration in Health Services Management.   Her qualifications are further enhanced by fellowships in Infection Control from the Hong Kong Nursing Academy, and she is recognised as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.   In her current position at CMHHK, Ms Chon leads the Nursing Division, facilitating the development and training of nursing profession as well as the implementation of quality nursing services designed to improve patient care throughout the hospital.

Mr LUI Ka Ho Leo

General Manager (Finance)

Mr Lui Ka Ho Leo is the General Manager (Finance) at CMHHK, bringing a robust background in strategic financial management specifically tailored for the healthcare sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biotechnology and is a Certified Public Accountant with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.   In his role, Mr Lui is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s financial operations, with a key focus on optimising resource allocation and enhancing operational efficiency to support the hospital's mission.
